Nawazuddin Siddiqui Served Notice By Mumbai Court After Wife Aaliya Alleges Domestic Violence Against The Actor And His Mother- REPORTS
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui has filed domestic violence complaint against the actor and his mother
Bollywood actor Nanwazuddin Siddiqui had once again landed in legal trouble, after his wife Aaliya Siddiqui filed a domestic violence complaint against him and his mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui. According to the reports by Times Now, Mumbai’s Andheri Court has issued him the notice over the complaint. Aaliya has alleged that the family is restricting her the provision of food, bed and bathroom.
Aaliya’s lawyer, during an interaction with Navbharat Times revealed that the actor and his family haven’t provided his client with food and only allowed her to take a bath twice in the past 7 days. He shared that he has video proof of the bodyguards not allowing her to take a bath, which he will present in the court as evidence. For the unversed, it was alleged by the Nawas’ mother that Aaliya wasn’t married to her son, therefore she was trespassing on the property. During his interaction with ETimes, Aaliya’s lawyer said, “I’m going by the admission on paper by Nawaz that Aaliya is his lawfully wedded wife because that is what he says everywhere. And if this case is true, then there is no case of trespass, which can be made against Aaliya by her mother-in-law because she has got no right or liberty to fight any kind of trespassing case against a wife who is entering her own husband’s house. After CCTV cameras were installed, now even bodyguards are there, stopping Aaliya from going to the bathroom in the upper rooms.”
He further stated that, “This means, their complaint of trespass is baseless, and Nawaz is cornered from both sides. Either there is a rape case against him or there is a case of domestic violence because she is not getting food, there is mental, physical, emotional and financial abuse. The manager received my notice and even the husband has received my notice but they have never bothered to respond. They kept quiet and even threatened.”
For the unversed, Nawaz and Aaliya tied the knot in 2009 and are proud parents of two kids - son Yaani and daughter Shora. In 2020, Aaliya filed for divorce from the actor and accused him of infidelity and domestic violence. However they had later reconciled.
